Sample Itineraries

Here are a few examples of itineraries I have created. Use them to get an idea of what might be possible on your trip, but know they are really just a starting point!

15-day Trip – First Visit to Israel

This trip was designed for a family visiting Israel for the first time. The idea was to create a diverse itinerary that would give a great introduction to the country, hitting many different regions and covering very diverse topics.

Since it was in the middle of the summer, we avoided going to the Negev, Israel's southern desert.

Wed - Arrive at Ben Gurion. Transfer to Tel Aviv. Tel Aviv afternoon tour. Sleep in Tel Aviv
Thurs - Tel Aviv-Yaffo. Sleep in Tel Aviv
Fri - Caesarea, Zichron Yaakov, Atlit. Sleep in Haifa
Sat - Shabbat. Free day in Haifa (option of walking tour). Sleep in Haifa
Sun - Rosh Hanikra, Akko/Acre. Sleep in Haifa
Mon - Tzippori, Tzefat/Safed. Sleep in Eastern Galilee
Tues - Tiberias, Hatzor, Hula Valley. Sleep in Eastern Galilee
Wed - Tel Dan, Golan Heights. Sleep in Eastern Galilee
Thurs - Beit Shean, Ein Gedi. Sleep at Dead Sea
Fri - Masada, Dead Sea. Sleep in Jerusalem
Sat - Shabbat. Free day in Jerusalem (option of walking tour). Sleep in Jerusalem
Sun - Jerusalem Old City, City of David, Western Wall Tunnels. Sleep in Jerusalem
Mon - Yad Vashem, Israel Museum. Sleep in Jerusalem
Tues - Ayalon Institute, Beit Guvrin (participate in archaeological dig), Elah Valley. Sleep in Jerusalem
Wed - Jerusalem New City neighborhoods, Mahane Yehuda Market. Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for Departure.

5 Days in the South

Underwater Observatory, Eilat

This trip was designed for two women who had been to Israel before, but wanted to visit the Negev. Additionally, they wanted to fit in a day trip to Petra as well.

Sun – Meet at Hotel in Jerusalem. Drive to Dead Sea. Ahava Visitors Center. Ein Gedi. Float in Dead Sea. Sleep at Ein Bokek
Mon – Masada. Drive to Kibbutz Ketura. Tour Kibbutz and meet Kibbutz members. Sleep at Kibbutz Ketura
Tues – Drive to Jordan border. Tour Petra w/local Jordanian guide. Return to Israel. Dinner in Eilat. Sleep at Kibbutz Ketura
Wed – Timna Park. Kibbutz Neot Smadar. Makhtesh Ramon. Sleep in Mizpe Ramon
Thurs – Avdat National Park. Carmei Avdat Winery. Sde Boker: Ben Gurion Grave & House. Kibbutz Revivim. Drive to Tel Aviv.
